This website was put together by several GIS volunteers from around the world to assist in the coordination of relief related data relevant to the Tohoku Kanto Earthquake in Japan. All the volunteers were recruited by GISCorps and worked with CrisisCommons.

HIROYUKI (Hiro) ISEKI is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland, College Park in the Urban Studies and Planning Program and is a member of the research faculty for the National Center for Smart Growth.

YOH KAWANO is the Campus GIS Coordinator at the University of California Los Angeles, and a lecturer in the School of Public Affairs who relishes in seeing all things spatially.
